How to Screenshot on PC (Windows)

You can take screenshot on your Windows PC using default application like Ms Paint and save the screenshot into BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF and GIF. No download software and works on any version Microsoft Windows. (Update)
Snipping Tool (Windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11 default application)

Take Screenshot on All Microsoft Windows versions (Prt Sc + Paint)

1. Push Prt Sc or PrtSc keyboard button (Print Screen button) on a windows layer to print the screen
2. Open Microsoft Paint and click Paste button or using shortcut keyboard (ctrl + v) to paste print screen on Paint
3. You can edit, crop, resize, rotate etc. after DONE
4. Click Save or Save as screenshot into one of media format (PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF or others format), Enter File Name and click Save Button

Another easy way is to search for “Snipping Tool” in the Search box and select Snipping Tool from the list of results.

The cool thing about this tool is that there are 4 types of snips, namely:

Rectangular Snip
As the name implies it will capture the screen with a square shape, when the Snipping Tool application is active, your screen will blacken and Drag the cursor around the object to form a box or rectangle.
Freeform Snip
You can draw a freeform around the object you want to capture.
Window Snip
You can capture a window, by selecting Window Snip and Select a window, such as a dialog box, that you want to capture.
Fullscreen Snip
Of course this is as the name suggests it will capture the entire screen exactly as you see it on your computer screen.
